We just updated our page on Beach Haven restaurants. This page will eventually provide the names and addresses of all restaurants in Beach Haven, but right now it has this information for 5 restaurants. Our first 5 restaurants include Chicken or the Egg, Black Whale Bar & Fish House, Uncle Will’s Pancake House, Fred’s Beach Haven Diner, and Bay Village Pizza. Beach Haven only has about 1300 residents, so its school system is fairly small. The Beach Haven School District runs one public school for grades K through 6 which is named Beach Haven Elementary School. The elementary school served just 72 students from Pre-K to 6th grade during the 2005-2006 school year.

Since there are so few children living in Beach Haven, the Borough joined up to be part of the Southern Regional School District for students in grades 7 through 12. The 7th and 8th graders in public school attend Southern Regional Middle School. The school offers academic teams, programs that are student centered and address individual needs, an extensive elective program, special needs programs, and interscholastic, intramural, and co-curricular programs.

Teenagers in Beach Haven can attend Southern Regional High School for grades 9 through 12. The high school offers over 200 courses. They have an active Advanced Placement program, technology-related courses, health and physical education programs, an Honor Unit Air Force Junior ROTC program, and many sports teams. It is located in Manahawkin, as is the middle school.

Beach Haven is a wonderful Borough with about 1300 residents in Ocean County, New Jersey. It was incorporated as a Borough by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on November 11, 1890, from portions of Eagleswood Township. Beach Haven is known for many things, including its beautiful beach which was recently ranked the ninth best beach in New Jersey in the 2008 Top 10 Beaches Contest held by the New Jersey Marine Sciences Consortium.

Beach Haven has an amusement park, a quality theatre, shopping centers, museums, miniature golf, a waterpark, and more. This website will go into more detail on each of these fun attractions in the future. Beach Haven is governed by a 3 member board of commissioners, one of whom is selected to be the Mayor.
